The ET&F® STEEL FRAMING Model 500A System is a pneumatic fastening solution designed for wood-to-steel fastening in cold-formed steel construction.
Weighing only 6 lbs, the bump-fire ET&F® Model 500A installs structural panels three to five times faster than traditional screw guns. The tool drives hardened ET&F® AKN-100 coil-collated pins into 27 mil (22 ga) to 68 mil (14 ga) steel, providing reliable penetration and holding performance. Using ET&F’s code-approved fastening system, the Model 500A is used to install plywood shear walls and wood structural panel diaphragms on steel framing. It is also approved for face-nailing specific fiber cement siding products to cold-formed steel studs.
