Hotel Arken
Eriksberg | Sweden
Combining modern timber architecture with a commitment to sustainability, Hotel Arken blends seamlessly into the Swedish coastal Landscape. A Project that unites contemporary design with ecological responsibility.
The three-story timber structure of Hotel Arken rests on slender steel columns, giving the building a floating appearance above the terrain. This design not only conveys a sense of lightness but allows for minimal-impact adaptation to the site as well. Clean lines and expansive windows blur the boundaries between interior and exterior spaces, creating a direct connection to nature for guests. The loft and exterior corridors were constructed using LIGNOLOC® wooden nails by BECK – a sustainable, recyclable, and metal-free fastening solution.
Its minimalist, high-quality design made from natural materials allows Hotel Arken to merge with its surroundings. The result: a place of peace and relaxation for guests who value the exceptional.
