FAQs

The BECK FW 50-16 is a pneumatic stapler for 50 series fine wire staples up to 16 mm (5/8”). It is suited to insulation, foils, roofing and flooring work, furniture making, millwork and carton closing.

The tool drives BECK 50 fine wire staples with leg lengths from 6 to 16 mm (1/4 to 5/8”). They correspond to the staple types BEA 95, DUOFAST 50, HOLZHER A and PREBENA D.

Yes. The DUOFAST 50 corresponds to the BECK 50, and the FW 50-16 drives it in lengths up to 16 mm (5/8”). BEA 95 and PREBENA D staples are comparable as well.

The BECK 50 has a flat 0.5 × 1.3 mm wire, considerably wider than the 0.8 to 0.9 mm of the BECK 7C or BECK 80. Together with the 12.5 mm crown, this results in a large contact surface.

The large contact surface holds soft and flat materials such as insulation, foils, fleece and cardboard without cutting through them.

No, the FW 50-16 only drives BECK 50 staples. For BECK 7C, 7 and M there is the FW 7C-16, for BECK 80 and 8 the FW 80-16.

The tool operates at 4 to 7 bar (60 to 100 psi). Its new valve system responds quickly and uses little compressed air.

The quick-release latch on the grip opens the magazine with one finger, and staples are inserted from below. Each trigger pull drives one staple, and a trigger lock adds further protection.

The FW 50-16 is a new development with a new valve system, a quick-release latch on the grip, a trigger lock and a metal cap. It drives the same staple type as the F1B 50-16.
