With the Microsoft Excel®-based LIGNOLOC® design tool from BECK, you obtain a reliable basis for the planning of load-bearing timber connections.

The design aid was developed specifically for the design of LIGNOLOC® wooden nails and enables the simple and transparent determination of the load-bearing capacity of a single nail. The characteristic resistances for shear and withdrawal are calculated. The determined individual values serve as the basis for your project-specific design and support the dimensioning of timber structures.
The design tool automatically verifies whether the boundary conditions relevant to the respective calculation are complied with in accordance with the European Technical Assessment (ETA) for LIGNOLOC®, thereby supporting standards-compliant application. For practical calculations, ETA-compliant wood-based materials are available for selection, including OSB, plywood, MDF, and solid wood. The tool is particularly suitable for supporting the planning of timber walls as well as the use of solid wood panels.
